UAE Moves Agentic AI From Strategy Toward Government Deployment With Dell
A new collaboration between the UAE Artificial Intelligence Office and Dell Technologies is focused on prototypes, implementation-ready systems and practical training for government entities — another sign that the country’s AI programme is moving deeper into deployment.

The UAE AI Office is pushing Agentic AI work closer to production by pairing government capability-building with prototype development, implementation-ready solutions and AI infrastructure expertise from Dell Technologies.
The UAE’s latest artificial-intelligence partnership is less interesting for the company name attached to it than for the language surrounding the work.
The Artificial Intelligence Office in the UAE Government has launched a collaboration with Dell Technologies aimed at developing prototypes, implementation-ready AI solutions and practical Agentic AI capabilities for government entities.
The programme also includes specialised knowledge and practical sessions designed to help government entities identify use cases and move AI projects from experimentation toward production.
The shift is from experimentation to implementation
That makes the development more significant than another agreement to explore artificial intelligence. The collaboration is explicitly tied to implementation-ready solutions, secure technology environments and the operational deployment of Agentic AI across government services and processes.
The work forms part of a wider United States visit by a UAE government delegation of more than 50 chief AI officers and leaders from federal and local government entities. The delegation is reviewing Agentic AI applications and operating models across major technology companies and academic institutions.
The UAE has also set a target of transitioning 50% of government sectors, operations and services toward Agentic AI-powered operating models within two years, making practical implementation capability increasingly important.
Infrastructure becomes part of the AI story
Participating entities were introduced to the Dell AI Factory, which brings together computing infrastructure, software, data and services used to develop, train and deploy AI models. Dell positions the platform as infrastructure for moving AI systems from experiments into production environments.
That infrastructure layer matters because government AI systems must eventually deal with questions that prototypes can avoid: data access, security, governance, compute requirements, integration with existing systems and where sensitive workloads are processed.
Dell has been expanding its own Agentic AI infrastructure around local and data-centre deployment, including systems intended to give organisations more control over security, economics and data sovereignty as autonomous AI workloads scale.
What Arabian Current is watching
For the UAE, the broader signal is that the national AI programme is entering a more operational phase. The question is increasingly moving from whether government entities should experiment with AI toward how systems are deployed, governed and measured in production.
The Dell collaboration does not yet identify which government entities will move into live Agentic AI deployments or what individual systems will be placed into production. Those details will determine whether the initiative becomes an operational shift rather than another capability-building programme.
The UAE had established a national Agentic AI direction, government AI leadership structures and a target to transform government operating models.
The Artificial Intelligence Office is working with Dell Technologies on prototypes, implementation-ready AI solutions, specialised training and infrastructure exposure for government entities.
The material test will be which government entities move from training and prototypes into live Agentic AI deployments.
What supports the signal.
Claims stay source-linked, with limits recorded.
The collaboration and delegation details are confirmed by Emirates News Agency reporting based on UAE Government announcements. Dell’s own materials provide supporting context on the AI Factory and its production-oriented Agentic AI infrastructure.
Operational use matters more than launch-day claims or model marketing.
Models, infrastructure, research and governance are separated when they imply different things.
The story is framed around what changes for UAE organisations and decision-makers.
