ARABIAN CURRENT / TRANSPARENCY

Editorial standards

Independent reporting, visible evidence and clear separation between editorial judgment and commercial relationships.

01

Evidence before certainty.

Material claims should be grounded in identifiable sources. Where evidence is incomplete, uncertainty stays visible rather than being written away.

02

Human editorial authority.

AI and automation can assist research and newsroom operations, but they do not independently approve publication, verification verdicts or corrections.

03

One canonical record.

Stories, companies, regulators and other entities should accumulate history instead of creating duplicate versions of the same underlying fact.

04

Commercial separation.

Advertising, sponsorship and paid visibility are kept separate from editorial conclusions, verification verdicts and intelligence significance.

LAUNCH FOCUS

A narrow mandate by design.

Arabian Current focuses its launch reporting on AI and the digital economy, regulation and trust, Scam or Legit? verification, and capital when it intersects with those subjects. UAE and Saudi Arabia are the active country desks; Regional is reserved for genuinely cross-border Gulf stories.

Generic business and startup news are not launch desks. Bylines identify the person or newsroom responsible for each published article.
